After years of perfecting our iconic sunshade design, we took everything that worked — and made it even better.
The weight has dropped significantly from 4.85 lbs to just around 3.75lbs!
The packaging is smaller than ever — easily fitting into a suitcase, backpack, or even a beach bag
The biggest upgrade: our new aluminum poles
To reduce both weight and packing volume, we’ve decreased the pole diameter from 0.83inches to just 0.47 inches
But we didn’t compromise on strength — instead, we upgraded to a new type of aluminum that’s stronger, more flexible, and far more durable.
We’ve added a smart security loop to better secure the Otentik in strong winds.
A huge hit these past summers, our compact & ultra lightweight Large beach tent, upgrades every outdoor activity you can imagine. Made from a special microfiber fabric’and are built to last. The Large Otentik™ beach canopy provides shade for up to 4 adults or a family of 5.
Keep in mind that the UV protection offered by our products should not replace personal sun protection, and we urge our beach shade users to also use a good lotion when out in the sun.

Every Otentik beach tent kit comes in a chic carry bag with everything needed for a great day out in the sun. Otentik beach tents come fully assembled, all you need to do is to have fun! When folded your beach canopy will take up almost no space, and is so easy to carry you’ll be amazed. Kit includes: beach tent, folding aluminum poles, sand bag anchors and carrying bag.
