After years of perfecting our iconic sunshade design, we took everything that worked — and made it even better.
The weight has dropped significantly — from 3.8 lbs to just around 3.3 lbs!
The packaging is smaller than ever — easily fitting into a suitcase, backpack, or even a beach bag
The biggest upgrade: our new aluminum poles
To reduce both weight and packing volume, we’ve decreased the pole diameter from 0.83 inches to just 0.47 inches.
But we didn’t compromise on strength — instead, we upgraded to a new type of aluminum that’s stronger, more flexible, and far more durable.
We’ve added a smart security loop to better secure the Otentik in strong winds.
Every Otentik beach tent kit comes in a chic carry bag with everything needed for a great day out in the sun. Otentik beach tents come fully assembled, all you need to do is to have fun!

The Fabric with a special weave which means that our beach shades offer UV protection We do recommend that you use personal sun protection as extra protection even when using our beach canopy.
